Big news for innovators, manufacturers, and designers who are seeking IP Right of Industrial Designs in Qatar!

For years, protecting an industrial design in Qatar was  Without a formal registration system, the industry standard was to publish Cautionary Notices in local newspapers to put the public on notice. 

That has officially changed. As of late 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has opened the doors for official Industrial Design filings. This is a massive step forward for Qatar’s National Vision 2030, aligning the nation’s IP framework with international standards.
